You can now select the map size for an online match in Age of Empires 4.

Age of Empires 4 has yet another strategy patch from Microsoft and Relic Entertainment. Players were able to choose the size of maps in online team battles just six months after the game was released, and the maps were reworked and rebalanced.
Furthermore, your troops will now be able to attack stone walls that are still being built; previously, you had to turn on the “gentleman” and wait for the workers to finish their work before attacking.
All of these changes have naturally resulted in the inability to load saves or replays created in previous versions of the strategy. Thankfully, the story campaign progress did not reset, which we appreciate.
Age of Empires 4 is available on PC and as part of the PC Game Pass.
