Without Tobey Maguire, Sam Raimi would never have made a Spider-Man film.

The Spider-Man trilogy, starring Tobey Maguire, was directed by Sam Raimi. In a recent interview with LA Time, the director expressed his admiration for the character.

Raimi stated that he would not have made a hero film without Toby. Maguire would have snapped his neck otherwise, according to the director. This is, of course, a joke.

I really like Spiderman. And Tom Holland is fantastic in this role. But if I were to make a Spider-Man film, it would undoubtedly feature Toby. He would have broken my neck otherwise.

Raimi directed the sequel to Doctor Strange, which was recently released in theaters. Maguire did not appear in the tape, despite the fans’ expectations. Rumors about the fourth “Spider-Man” have been circulating recently, but they are just that: rumors.
