The unofficial multiplayer mode for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind has been updated by enthusiast David Cernath. The update’s main feature is support for VR helmets, allowing gamers with helmets to safely play alongside those without one.
Regrettably, the most important detail – a list of supported VR devices – was left out.
TES3MP is built on OpenMW, a project that uses its own code to mimic the game engine. Modders can change, add, or remove any mechanic in Morrowind using this method.
On the project’s Steam page, you can download the modification.
By the way, happy holidays to all Morrowind fans – yesterday marked the 20th anniversary of “a massive, god-like, great game.”
