Virgin Atlantic’s plane is forced to make an emergency U-turn in the middle of a flight due to an “untrained pilot.”

When the incident occurred over Ireland, the Virgin Atlantic A330 flight from Heathrow to New York was in the air. The flight’s captain was informed that the first officer’s training had not been completed.

The Airbus A330 was forced to return to Heathrow around 40 minutes into the flight due to a pilot incident.

The plane, which has a capacity of nearly 300 passengers, was forced to wait on the runway for a qualified replacement.

Passengers arrived nearly three hours later than scheduled in the United States.
