Up to eight people were killed in a supermarket attack in the United States.


A suspect in the mass shooting in broad daylight on Saturday at 3 p.m. GMT-4, New York time, has been arrested. According to ABC News, “at least eight” people have been killed. The public is advised to avoid the area. It is still unknown how many people were killed and injured in the shooting.

Local officials are being offered assistance, according to New York Governor Kathy Hochul.

“BPD on scene of a mass shooting at the Tops in the 1200 block of Jefferson Avenue,” Buffalo Police Department tweeted.

“Multiple people have been hit by gunfire, according to police.”

“The shooter is in custody.

“Motorists and residents should stay away from the area.”
