Trailer for the series “Patient Zero,” which is about an HIV outbreak in the Soviet Union.


The first trailer for the drama series “Patient Zero” was released by the online cinema “Kinopoisk.” On May 19, the service will debut the show.

The series’ plot will take place in the Soviet Union in 1988. One of the heroes will be Kirsan Ayushev, a doctor at a children’s hospital who will suspect HIV infection in several patients. The show will dissect the outbreak and present it in a realistic light.

Evgeny Stychkin and Sergey Trofimov were the directors. Askar Ilyasov, Nikita Efremov, Elizaveta Shakira, Evgeny Stychkin, and others played major roles in the series.

There will be a total of seven episodes, the length of which is still unknown.
