The United Kingdom is bracing for a mid-week washout, with 29mm of rain forecast for Tuesday.

From Thursday to Sunday, rain may fall in parts of the United Kingdom. However, as we approach next week, much of the country may become wet.

WXCHARTS predicts that up to 29mm of rain could fall across much of the UK on Tuesday evening.

The showery spell appears to be wreaking havoc on the north west of England and west of Scotland.

However, the Midlands and East Anglia are expected to receive less rain at the same time.

Rain appears to be moving up from the southwest and across the Irish Sea, resulting in the wet conditions.
