After visiting the monarch last month, Prince Harry, 37, and Meghan Markle, 40, have given no indication as to whether they will return to the UK to commemorate the Queen’s 70 years of public service. According to the Daily Telegraph, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been invited to join the Royal Family on the balcony. However, a royal commentator has described their attendance as “lose-lose.”
“Harry and Meghan shouldn’t go to the Queen’s Jubilee because it will take the attention away from the Queen,” royal watcher Kate Nason told Us Weekly’s Royally Us.
“They don’t need to upset anyone else in the family.”
“I think this is a lose-lose situation,” said host Christine Ross.
“I think she makes a good point that if they don’t go, the spotlight will be on them, but if they go, the spotlight will be on them.”
