According to Deadline, Alan Ritchson has joined the cast of Fast & Furious 10. Ritchson recently starred as Jack Reacher in the Amazon series based on Lee Child’s novels of the same name.
The article does not say what role Ritchson’s character will play in the plot of the film. It’s possible that Ritchson’s hero will become an antagonist: according to NY Daily News sources, the actor who will play one of the villains has yet to be found.
Alan Ritchson isn’t the only newcomer on the tenth Fast and Furious team. Brie Larson and Jason Momoa will also appear in the film, with Momoa’s character being an unusual antagonist.
Following the departure of director Justin Lin, filming has been put on hold. He is expected to be succeeded by Louis Leterrier.
