The MMO’s official release date has been pushed back from the day before.

The Day Before has been postponed by publisher MyTona and studio Fntastic. Originally set for June 21, the new MMO survival open world release date has been set for March 1, 2023.

The information comes from IGN USA, which published an official statement from the developers, explaining that the decision to delay the game’s release is due to the transition from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5.

According to the Fntastic team, “millions of people have added The Day Before to their wishlist, making it one of the most anticipated games in the world.”

“With great gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce that The Day Before is transitioning to Unreal Engine 5! Switching to a more advanced and appropriate open world engine will enhance The Day Before’s gameplay. In this regard, we wish to inform you that the game’s new release date is March 1, 2023.”
