The Library of Babela is a 2D stealth platformer with old-school graphic adventure elements coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam) in 2022, according to publisher Neon Doctrine and developers Tanuki Game Studios. A trailer and the first official images were released alongside the announcement, which you can see below.
The Library of Babel is based on Jorge Luis Borges’ short story of the same name, and it takes place in a world where humans have been extinct for 20,000 years and are replaced by super advanced robots. The discovery of a mysterious Library containing books from the past, present, and future is upsetting to this perfect robotic society.
