Thanks to Xbox Cloud Gaming, Fortnite is back on iOS.

Epic Games and Microsoft have announced a new phase of collaboration. Fortnite was launched on the Xbox Cloud Gaming cloud service by companies. All of its subscribers will now be able to play the shooter for free on iOS mobile devices and on PC:

We’re excited to announce that Fortnite will be available on Xbox Cloud Gaming in collaboration with Epic Games. This means that starting today, you only need a Microsoft account and an iOS, iPadOS, Android phone or tablet, or a Windows PC with Internet access to play Fortnite Cloud-enabled devices.

This is a crucial step in the process of adding a Free-to-Play game to the cloud gaming library. We’ll start with Fortnite and work our way up from there. We want to make gaming accessible to 3 billion people around the world at Xbox, and the cloud is a big part of that. Simply put, we want to give you more options when it comes to the games you play and how you play them.

Fortnite is bаck in the Apple ecosystem thаnks to this collаborаtion, despite the fаct thаt it hаd been removed аnd blаcklisted from the App Store for quite some time. This occurred аs а result of а legаl dispute between Apple аnd Epic Gаmes.
