Prey’s first trailer shows a girl fighting hunters in a Predator prequel.

Obviously, the hunters did not shoot Naru’s head off right away.

Prey, Prey, the Predator prequel directed by Dan Trachtenberg, has received its first teaser trailer from 20th Century Studios. The events of the film take place 300 years before the encounter between the alien hunter and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s hero.

The main character Prey, a fierce Comanche warrior named Naru, will use a bow and arrow to fight aliens. Naru will be a hunter at first, tracking down mysterious prey, but then the roles will be reversed.

Prey will premiere on August 5, 2022.
