New information on cross-play, the safety car, and classic circuits has been released for F1 22.

F1 22 will be released on July 1st, and it will include some exciting new features, such as the ability to drive one of two different safety car models. Cross-play and classic circuits were also mentioned.

As we mentioned in our latest F1 22 preview, the next edition of the Codemasters racer will allow you to drive the two safety cars, Mercedes and Aston Martin, during time trials but not in official races: a nice bonus to allow us to test the cars in question.

Second, cross-platform play will be available after launch: the developers were unable to implement this feature in time for the July launch due to a number of technical issues.

Finally, our Peter Vogric inquired of the Codemasters team about the possibility of reviewing the classic circuits, which are no longer on the calendar, beginning with the 2022 Formula One season.

There wаs no specific аnswer, but the аuthors sаid to “stаy tuned” for more informаtion: а stаtement thаt cаn only heighten аnticipаtion for the gаme, which is set to releаse on July 1 for PC, PlаyStаtion 4, аnd Xbox One.
