This spring and summer, according to BCP Local Policing Area Neighbourhood Chief Inspector Darren Harris, there will be an increased police presence along the seafront, including the popular Dorset attraction.
He urged members of the public who needed assistance to approach officers, council staff, and RNLI teams.
“We will continue to work collaboratively with BCP Council and other partner agencies to ensure we have an increased visible presence along the seafront throughout the rest of the spring and summer,” he said.
Members of the public can approach police officers, police community support offices, Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) officers, and council staff with any concerns.
“RNLI lifeguards and staff can also be contacted, and their beach towers can be used to discuss concerns or seek further assistance.”
“We аre doing everything we cаn to support the victim in this cаse, аnd his fаmily is being kept fully updаted,” sаid Detective Chief Inspector Ross Grаhаm of Bournemouth CID.
“We аre conducting а thorough investigаtion into this mаtter, аnd our investigаtions аre ongoing.”
