The streaming giant would expect “more bang” for their £71 million deal with the Sussexes, according to royal biographer and expert Robert Jobson, who spoke to the Mirror. “The couple may now be under increased pressure to come up with the goods, including royal-related goods, to reclaim Netflix’s subscribers,” he said. However, the cancellation of Meghan’s show demonstrates one thing: a person’s name and royal ties do not guarantee support in the ruthless world of show business.
