Kate and William will take on a major role as Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and will send out a “special message.”

On Friday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge take part in the Mental Health Minute, a special message broadcast to more than 20 million people across 500 radio stations each year.
This is William and Kate’s fifth year participating in the initiative.
This year, however, the royal couple will be the sole speakers for the first time.
It comes as William and Kate prepare to travel to Scotland later this week for a series of engagements focused on mental health.
During the Covid pandemic, the Cambridges will meet with students at the University of Glasgow to discuss their mental health and wellbeing, including those whose studies include mental health research and members of the university’s Society for Mental Health.
The Duke will also pay a visit to Edinburgh’s Heart of Midlothian Football Club to learn about the ‘Changing Room,’ a program that uses football to help men aged 30-64 talk about their mental health.
