Jason Momoa will star in a film written by the writers of ‘The Eternals.’

Jason Momoa has been cast in the new film The Executioner (tentatively titled) by The Eternals writers Kaz and Ryan Firpo, according to Deadline.

There are currently no plot details, but the tape is described as a comedic detective action film in the vein of Knives Out and The Lord of the Rings. There has yet to be a director appointed.

Peter Safran, who worked on Aquaman, Suicide Squad, and Shazam!, will produce the film. as well as a Peacekeeper

There is no release date for The Executioner yet.
