In the Overwatch 2 beta, Blizzard plans to shorten queues and improve the user interface.

Blizzard has announced that the closed beta of Overwatch 2 will undergo changes. The team’s first step is to strengthen the support heroes so they can be chosen more frequently. Because almost no one uses these heroes now, server wait times will be reduced.

Because they die so easily and no one protects them, they will increase their hit points and power. In the long run, the team hopes to fix the problem by introducing some fantastic new supports to the game.

The leaderboard will be updated as well. The medal system was supposed to show how well players performed on the battlefield, but it led to many people misinterpreting the information. Kills, kill assists, damage, number of deaths, and other statistics will be displayed on the new real-time leaderboard.

Separately, the team stated that they listen to all players and that changes to the game’s gameplay will be implemented on a regular basis.

closed beta Overwatch 2 available on PC.
