In the event of an ‘attack,’ Britain will stand by Sweden and Finland, according to a historic defense agreement.


In an effort to bolster European security in the face of Russian threats, the Prime Minister promised to assist the countries if they are attacked.

Moscow has issued a series of warnings to European countries, including direct threats of invasion against Sweden and Finland.

Mr Johnson called the new declarations’ signing “a watershed moment in defense and security cooperation.”

“This is not a band-aid solution, but a long-term commitment to strengthen military ties and global stability, as well as fortify Europe’s defenses for future generations,” he added.
