In a menacing threat to Europe, Russia launches lethal nuclear missiles near Poland.

The military action was announced by the country’s defense ministry on Wednesday, amid fears that Vladimir Putin may use nuclear weapons as the war enters its 70th day.

The defense ministry said in a statement that Russia practiced simulated “electronic launches” of nuclear-capable Iskander mobile ballistic missile systems.

According to the statement, Russian forces practiced single and multiple strikes on mock enemy targets such as missile launchers, airfields, protected infrastructure, military equipment, and command posts.

The military personnel then performed a maneuver to shift their position in order to avoid “potential retaliatory strikes,” according to the defence ministry.
