Resident Evil, the upcoming Netflix survival horror series loosely based on Capcom’s survival horror, has released a second teaser trailer that reveals the narrative implications that led to the zombie invasion.
Resident Evil is back in video a few days after the first teaser trailer, giving us a look at the show’s atmospheres, which, as we know, will be told in two timelines.
Both appear in the video, with a meeting of the Umbrella Corporation highlighting the dangers of spreading the T-Virus and a sequence set ten years later, with devastated neighborhoods and undead invading the streets.
We talked about a series “freely taken” from Resident Evil not by chance, because it’s a true reboot in terms of story and characters compared to the videogame franchise.
An experiment that worked? Is this just a business? Everything will be revealed beginning July 14th.
