Harry and Meghan have ‘nothing to show’ as the Firm ‘needs to have them back.’
Meghan’s animated series, Pearl, was canceled by Netflix.
“So while Harry’s Invictus documentary is continuing, there is nothing for Meghan to show for it, and it’s really calling into question whether they can walk the walk,” royal commentator Rafe Heydel-Mankoo said of Netflix’s recent decision.
However, Tina Brown, the former editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair, told LBC that the couple could be a “huge asset” to the Royal Family, adding, “I think they actually, they really needed them.”
“I mean, they were the face of, you know, younger, connecting to the young of England,” she explained.
“Having a woman of color in the Royal Family was wonderful for the connection to a more diverse nation,” she said.
“I believe there was a need to get them back.” I believe they should be brought back.”
