Google Maps now has an immersive view.


Yesterday, Google held a large conference at which the company unveiled a slew of new products. One of them was an immersive map view that allows you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of various large cities. It will be possible to virtually fly over city streets and 3D building models.

Sundar Pichai gave the presentation and demonstrated 3D London. Google created city models using various types of street surveys for the technology.

Only London, Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco will be available at first, with other major cities to be added later. Users will be able to explore cities in greater depth thanks to the feature.

Sundar also demonstrated how the function will allow you to enter the restaurant and view its interior.
