Double Fine’s most popular and well-received game is Psychonauts 2.
Due to the success of Psychonauts 2, it appears that Tim Schafer will be releasing a new studio album. The art director of Double Fine studio, Lisette Titre-Montgomery, informed us of the situation. She’s a remarkable woman.wroteShe announced on Twitter that she was leaving the company on April 1st and was excited to work on Double Fine’s best-selling and highly rated game.
She did not provide exact figures, unfortunately. If the figures are correct, Psychonauts 2 has surpassed the 1.7 million copies sold in the first installment.
It’s possible that Lisette’s numbers include Xbox Game Pass player information. A subscription is required to play the game.
If the game does indeed become the best-selling, Double Fine can only be pleased. Despite positive press, the company’s games did not sell in large quantities.
Psychonauts 2 is available for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
