‘Doctor Strange: Into the Multiverse of Madness’ has a 60% drop in box office.

“Doctor Strange: Into the Multiverse of Madness” continues to lead the box office in both the United States and internationally in its second week. However, Sam Raimi’s box office took a significant hit: the tape brought in $61 million in its home country (a drop of 67.5%), and another $83.5 million in the rest of the world (a drop of 60%). The blockbuster has a total of $ 688 million in the bank. This is a good result, but if the fees keep falling at the same rate, a billion dollars will be forgotten.
In turn, the new “Fantastic Beasts” will have to forget about even a $400 million budget. The film earned $2.4 million in the United States over the weekend, and another $3.9 million internationally. The blockbuster grossed $376 million worldwide on a budget of at least $200 million, putting the franchise’s future in jeopardy.
“Fantastic Beasts” grossed $814 million in the first installment and $655 million in the second.
