FromSoftware’s developers have issued an official statement confirming rumors and leaks that the online servers for the PC version of the iconic Dark Souls will be restored.
This story started a few months ago, when serious security issues were discovered, prompting the game’s creators to turn off the PvP server for all parts of Dark Souls (we’re talking about the PC version) as a precaution.
At the same time, the developers promised to fix the problem after Elden Ring was released, but the last one was released, and the servers remained down for months.
Now, FromSoftware has officially announced plans to return the servers – all lost data for all three parts, including the third, which experienced a critical error, will be gradually restored. The authors are not yet ready to say when everything will work again, but they are already working on a schedule.
