Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montreal, and Square Enix Montreal, as well as their respective intellectual properties, were purchased by Embracer Group for a total of $ 300 million.
As a result, the company now owns brands like Tomb Raider, whose next game will be a remake in Unreal Engine 5, as well as Deus Ex, Thief, Legacy of Kain, and more than fifty other titles that were previously owned by Square Enix.
