Since the invasion began, Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly threatened nuclear war, putting Western powers on high alert. This nuclear bluster has alarmed European countries like Sweden, which does not currently possess nuclear weapons.

“When it comes to our nuclear deterrent, that’s something we don’t generally comment on,” the Prime Minister said.
