As Ukrainian night ambushers on quad bikes dismantle key offensives, Putin is humiliated.

When Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a “special military operation” in Ukraine on February 24, Russian troops prepared to storm Kyiv quickly. Russian troops have since retreated from Ukraine’s capital, according to satellite images and reports.

The column was said to have stalled for days before dispersing due to insurgent-style attacks.

Remote-controlled mines were used to target a number of vehicles, according to Ukrainian defenders.

According to a commander familiar with the missions, small groups of fighters would venture up to Russian positions, strike them, and then speed away, some using quad bikes, night vision goggles, drones, and sniper rifles.

“You should not imagine we are like guys from the movie Mad Max, but yes, we used quad bikes… because they are very mobile,” Lieutenant Colonel Yaroslav Honchar, co-founder of Aerorozvidka, a civilian non-governmental organization (NGO), told Sky News.
