Since the beginning of the war on February 24, Russia has suffered significant equipment losses, with multiple videos showing tanks and helicopters being destroyed in successful drone strikes. According to new footage released by Ukraine’s Defense Forces, Moscow has suffered additional losses in the Black Sea as a result of yet another drone attack. Two Russian Raptor fast-attack craft were blown to smithereens off the coast of Snake Island, according to footage shared on the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces’ Facebook page.
One of the two boats can be seen sailing while Ukrainian forces are targeting it from afar.
Seconds later, footage shows a massive conflagration destroying the first ship, before cutting to footage of an unmanned drone.
The boats were sunk at dawn, according to General Staff Chief Valeriy Zaluzhniy.
“Two Russian Raptor-class boats were destroyed near Zmiinyi (Snake) Island at dawn this morning,” he wrote on Facebook.
