Alpha version 3.17 of Star Citizen is now available.

All backers of Star Citizen alpha 3.17 received an update this week from Cloud Imperium. Several new features are included in the latest update, as shown in the trailer below.

Selling items from the inventory, such as loot found on abandoned ships and weapons “confiscated” from other players, became possible in Star Citizen Alpha 3.17.

In addition, the game now features a ship-to-ship refueling system, allowing you to return home even if you run out of fuel in deep space by simply calling for assistance.

Furthermore, new mining tools have emerged, speeding up and simplifying the process. Also available was the cargo ship MISC Hull A.

Maria Pure of Heart Hospital is a new location.
