Remedy Entertainment has released its first-quarter report for the year 2022. Given that its most recent release was a remaster of the original Alan Wake, which was made possible by Epic Games, the Finnish company is in high spirits.

The quarter’s revenue was €12.6 million, up 55.9% from the same period in 2021. The operating profit was 2.76 million euros.

Remedy stated that it now primarily receives royalties from Control sales, which are declining year after year. Epic Games has yet to pay royalties to developers for Alan Wake Remastered because it has not yet recovered its development and release costs.

Between 2023 and 2025, Remedy plans to release four games:

Remedy and Rockstar Games announced remakes of the first two Max Payne games using Northlight in February. On PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, the game will be released. No date has been set yet.

In addition, the studio announced that the opening of a subsidiary office in Sweden has been completed.
