After watching video in the Commons, disgraced tractor porn MP Neil Parish resigns.

On Saturday, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Tiverton and Honiton in Devon admitted to watching pornography twice in the House of Commons.

He claimed the first time was by chance after visiting a tractor website, but admitted the second time was on purpose.

Over the allegations, the Conservative Party suspended Mr Parish on Friday.

The 65-year-old said he planned to resign over the weekend, but the decision was only made public now.

“The Chancellor of the Exchequer has today appointed Neil Quentin Gordon Parish to be Steward and Bailiff of the Manor of Northstead,” according to a Treasury statement released on Wednesday.

The mechanism for allowing the MP to resign is to appoint him to the position.
