A black woman could replace Cal as the protagonist of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released in 2019, but interesting details about former Respawn Entertainment developer Nora Shramek have recently surfaced.

Cal might not have been the game’s main character, she said on Twitter. Initially, they wanted to make a black woman the protagonist instead of him, and this decision was even supported, but critics claimed that there were already two black women in the title, and that Rey was the main character of the Star Wars franchise’s last three films.

Nora also remembered one of her coworkers suggesting that dark-skinned people should have more lustrous skin. This, according to the girl, enraged many people, including herself. By the way, she doesn’t hold Disney or EA responsible for this:

I don’t hold EA, Disney, or others responsible. Individuals, I believe, have power in this process.

The gaming industry is associated with oppression, racism, and homophobia. Particularly recently. All of this, Shramek observed, is rather depressing.

On аll current plаtforms, Stаr Wаrs Jedi: Fаllen Order is аvаilаble. The sequel’s detаils аre worth wаiting for this yeаr.
